Youth opportunities are open to 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders attending or eligible to attend any of the
six Bristol Tennessee City Schools. Teams are organized by school.

Basketball - divided into boys and girls leagues
The Bristol Area Girl's Youth Softball (BAGYS) softball program is organized by the department and is
sanctioned by the Amateur Softball Association (ASA).
Spring Softball offers 8U (coach pitch), 10U, 12U, 14U age divisions.
Summer softball offers 14U, 16U, and 18U age divisions.
The department also offers tennis, golf, and swim lessons at our city facilities.

Bristol Area Girls Youth Softball
City of Bristol Tennessee Girl's Spring Softball leagues are open to all girls in the Bristol area. 8 & Under (ages 6-8) coach pitch; 10 & Under, 12 &Under, 14 & Under – fastpitch (girls pitch) Ages as of December 31, 2007. Amateur Softball Association (ASA) sanctioned leagues. All games are played at Whitetop Creek Park, no traveling. Cost is $20.00 per player. Registration begins February 8th at the Slater Community Center from 9am-1pm; come to the gym entrance. You may also register February 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28 at the Slater Community Center from 5:00pm – 8:00pm and March 1st from 9am – 1pm; come to the gym entrance. Practices begin the week of March10 so register early. For additional information phone 423-764-4048. A coaches meeting will be held February 28th at 7:00pm at the Slater Community Center.
