Finance Department

 

The Finance Department oversees the security and management of the City's financial records and official city records, such as minutes, ordinances and resolutions.  The Department is also responsible for the annual budget, purchasing, juvenile court, and municipal court.

The Department is responsible for the collection of all revenue of the City including property taxes, business taxes, and municipal fines.  This office also oversees the billing process for utility services, such as water, sewer, and solid waste collection services.   

The City Manager is assisted by the Department with preparation of the City's annual budget document.  Staff coordinates implementation of the city's annual capital and operating budgets and monitors results throughout the year.  Please click

Purchasing procures goods and service to be used by employees throughout the City.    For more information on the products or services currently available for bid or requests for proposals, please refer to the purchasing webpage.Juvenile court and municipal court comprise the court division.  This division oversees police tickets, fines from ordinance violations, and various services related to children under the age of 18.
