Legal Department
 

The Legal Department provides legal services for the City of Bristol.  This includes advising the city council, city manager, departments, officers and various boards and commissions.

The department also: 

     •prepares, reviews and approves
       ordinances, resolutions contracts, deeds,
       easements and other legal documents

     •prosecutes cases in the municipal court
       and the juvenile court 

     •collects delinquent taxes and other debts
       owed to the city
