Haynesfield Aquatic Center

Haynesfield Aquatic Center located at 327 Sleepy Hollow Road, is a 600,000 gal public pool built in 1964. The fenced facility includes 1.75 acres. The main pool is 43 feet by 16 feet and has a 38 feet by 38 feet diving well. There is also a 20 feet by 20 feet baby pool. The bath-house / entry building contains restrooms, showers, office and counter area. There is also a concession building. The pool is serviced by 136 feet by 49 feet parking area. This area is only partially paved and 25% is a grass slope.

The main pool is serviced by a 21 feet by 20 feet pump house containing the primary pump system, 2 sand filters, and the chlorine injector system. This system was installed in 1996. The baby pool has a separate pump, filter, and chlorine system located adjacent to the pool and housed in a 5 feet by 5 feet shed. Recent ADA changes have required the installation of entry steps and a power lift.
