The Support Services Unit (SSU) provides internal support and training to the patrol and criminal investigations divisions of the Bristol Tennessee Police Department. Additionally, SSU provides service to the citizens of the City through an array of specialized disciplines which include:
SSU provides the opportunity for the community to join forces with the police department through outreach programs such as the Citizens Police Academy, Teen Police Academy, Auxiliary and Reserve Officer Programs, hosting a crime prevention seminar, or starting a Neighborhood Watch program.
