Believe in Bristol is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization composed of dedicated citizens, business owners, government officials and other friends of Bristol who recognize the role a vital downtown plays in preserving and furthering our communities identity, spirit and economy.

The Birthplace of Country Music
The Birthplace of Country Music showcases Bristol, Tennessee and Bristol, Virginia’s role in the birth and development of country music through the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, the Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion music festival, WBCM Radio Bristol, and a multitude of community and educational outreach programs.

Bristol Motor Speedway
Bristol Motor Speedway is a legendary NASCAR short-track nicknamed The Last Great Colosseum for its epic battles and Roman-like architecture. Its features steep banking, an all-concrete surface and stadium-like seating that heighten its popularity among fans and participants. The speedway is among the largest sporting venues in the world. In addition to the speedway, Bristol has a .25-mile dragstrip that hosts an annual NHRA event, the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals. Nicknamed Thunder Valley due to its location and scenery, the dragstrip hosts all three additional national touring NHRA series, plus other weekly and monthly events. Two of the premier facilities on the NASCAR and NHRA circuits and home to the most popular Sprint Cup events in the USA, the Food City 500 and Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race, in April and August respectfully.

Paramount Center for the Arts
Paramount Bristol is a multi-use performing arts center in the heart of downtown Bristol presenting music, dance, comedy, film, theater and family entertainment. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, its lavish interior and iconic marquee are characteristic of Art Deco movie palaces built in the 1930s. The Paramount Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, owns and operates the theater.

State Street Farmers Market
Join us at the State Street Farmer's Market where local merchants, fresh food and fun times come together. Choose your favorite local produce, homemade foods and unique arts and crafts. The market is open from May through October.
