Bristol Tennessee City Schools will be back in session Tuesday, August 8, for the first full day of school.  To ease pick-up and drop-off processes for parents, the Bristol Tennessee Police Department has developed set traffic patterns around Fairmount Elementary School and Bristol Tennessee Middle School. These routes have been designed to alleviate congestion and navigate around the ongoing East Cedar Street construction project.

 FAIRMOUNT ELEMENTARY:

Morning Drop-Off – From Maryland Avenue, take Maple Street to Virginia Avenue and proceed to the front of the school. BTPD officers will be present to direct motorists.

Afternoon Pick-up – The carpool line will form on Maryland Avenue at the rear of the school. Only buses will be permitted to pick students up at the front of the school.

TENNESSEE MIDDLE SCHOOL: From 5th Street, turn on to College Avenue.DO NOT attempt to turn on to Tremont or College Avenue from Weaver Pike.

Crossing guards and Police Officers will be present at all school zones to safely guide motorists. Please be attentive to their directions, observe the 15 MPH speed limit in all school zones, watch for pedestrians in and around schools, and allow extra time to reach your destination.
