A pets section would be a nice place for community pet owners to share pet tips and other things like areas to watch out for that aren't safe for people to walk their pets.

After more than 20 years in business, Wes Adams and Gary Boyles, the local abortionists, have killed 10s of thousands of our children and continue to do so. Our schools are literally crumbling and falling apart, yet we continue to push heinous ideas such as promoting contraceptives to children as young as 10. It's unconscionable!
How do we expect our town to grow, become a family oriented community, and develop strong moral character in our children when we're pro-actively promoting immoral behavior?
The abortion clinic is an outright attack on our town, and it's winning. We need to shut it down so we can promote a strong family community, with award winning schools, good jobs and excellent housing for people to raise a family.
When will our politicians even write a letter to the abortionists and simply ask them to stop? That's not much to ask. When will our teachers stop promoting sex to 10 year olds? That's not much to ask.
What do you think?

I would like to see the City build a new Baseball facility suitable to also house the Bristol Pirates. The current facility is run down and is not up to standards for our local high school. It needs to be moved to another location to give fans a safe parking lot. I would hate to see the Pirates move to another town, but that may happen if they don't get a new facility. The current location would also be a great place for a giant water slide and a much needed water park! The elevation changes would be perfect for a water slide and it could empty into the end of Haynesfield pool that is not utilized now ! I think this town needs a water park that isn't focused on the kiddies!

With nearly ALL public facilities closing their lobbies and therefore restrooms there is nowhere a homeless person can maintain the basic dignity of cleanliness.
The cleanliness and hygiene of our communities most suseptible population is more than just a concern of this group, but also should be a top priority in helping to reduce the exposure and transmission of the novel Corona virus that is sweeping our nation and the world

I work for Microsoft 100% remotely and move here last November.
Internet speed is of the utmost importance when it comes to working remotely.
BTES pricing is less than optimal when it comes to the tier of services they provide:
60Mb/15Mb - $59.95
80Mb/20Mb - $69.95
1G/1G - $299.95
I ended up gong with Charter/Spectrum for 400Mbs/20Mbps
Competition from BTES by offering would help offset the high price of fiber to the homes and provide competition to Spectrum/Charter.

Although I am grateful that Bristol, TN has an official dog park, it has recently become clear to me that many owners are not following the rules of the Bark Park. On April 11, 2017, my daughter was attacked by a dog who is owned by a prominent person in our community and that owner fled the scene. This was not the first, nor the second time this dog has shown aggression. Today, just one day later, a pit bull attacked my daughter's dog. He had to be seen by the vet and I am incurring costs now. At 18, my daughter tried to communicate with the owner of the dog who attacked her and she will not respond. I have attempted as well with no response. All we wanted to do was confirm that the dog was up to date on shots since he broke the skin. My daughter's dog, a 9 mo old Golden Retriever, had just started training and will eventually be her Service dog. We are now delayed due to his injuries. Many are also bringing small dogs into the big dog area which can only lead to trouble.

I think if more people were made aware of this, they would hopefully take responsible actions as well since the health of their dog(s) is at stake.

Plastic pollution is a global problem now. Our society uses plastic products in almost every way, but we can make changes by uniting people. For example, people should be informed of the cause, and this would help bring the community together as one. Many people are adopting a zero waste living style and it'll even save them money. More people should learn about it and get the opportunity to practice those ideas. Big companies like Starbucks can ban plastic straws, so Bristol Tennessee definitely has the power to make change, too. Only then, will Bristol truly be 'a good place to live.'

Haynesfield Pool could use a major update. Maybe add a splash pad, a slide, a wave pool. Bristol's kids are going to other local places like Kingsport and Johnson City to enjoy their new facilities.
